SENIOR EXPERT FOOD PROCESSING

A position for a seasoned expert in Food Processing in a Pilot Plant of a renowned research institute in Ede. Do you enjoy letting science meet with practice? Then this might be the project for you!

| Your challenges?

As a Senior Expert Food Processing, your main focus is providing technological expertise and innovative solutions to meet the needs of various clients in the Food Industry. You are responsible for interpreting customer inquiries, designing and carrying out projects, and creating practical and experimental production processes. Next to that, you will work together with the Business Development team to stay on top of everything that is going on in the market. It is thus important that you enjoy stakeholder management and working in multidisciplinary teams.

This position is located in Ede.

• Technological interpretation of Customer inquiries
• Design and execute projects for Customers with a focus on both up- and down-scaling processes, process optimization and troubleshooting
• Identify relevant scientific developments and translate them into commercial propositions with the Business Development team
• Work together with interdisciplinary teams to ensure a successful project execution

| What do we expect from you?

• An Msc or PhD in the field of Food Process Technology, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of ten years of experience in a process improvement and development position, preferably in the Food/Dairy industry
• Experience in evaporation, membrane filtration, microbiology, fermentation, and interest in the dairy process and modelling
• Passion to translate academic knowledge into practical solutions
• A willingness to travel occasionally
• Business Fluent in English – Conversational Dutch is a plus
