Senior Chemical Engineer - Geleen

| YOUR CHALLENGES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Project Engineer, you will become a pivotal asset at a pilot plant located in Geleen, The Netherlands. This role immerses you in troubleshooting, enhancing pilot scale processes, and refining process equipment. You'll collaborate closely with the pilot plant team, maintaining crucial connections to Operations & Maintenance teams, Technology & Innovation Units, and external engineering partners. Your responsibilities encompass translating process development needs into technical frameworks, prioritizing process safety in tandem with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) standards, and catalyzing subsequent engineering endeavors by external collaborators.

In the capacity of a vital member of the pilot plant technology team, your duties will encompass:

• Providing technical support for pilot plant processes and equipment,
• Ensuring adherence to internal and external protocols and regulations,
• Transforming process development requisites into comprehensive technical packages amenable to pilot plant installation,
• Pioneering research, design, and development of novel pilot plant equipment,
• Stepping into the role of a project leader for refining pilot plant equipment,
• Guiding fellow pilot plant colleagues on technology and process intricacies.

| QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical or Process Engineering,
• A minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a Chemical or Process Engineer within the chemical industry,
• A track record of proficiently managing projects within the chemical domain,
• Proficiency in crafting technical scopes and engineering documents,
• A pragmatic, problem-solving approach backed by a hands-on attitude, adept at decision-making, planning, and organizing solution implementations,
• Effective communication prowess, facilitating seamless alignment with diverse stakeholders.
