High-tech consultancy company TMC is proud to announce the acquisition of Guldberg, a fast-growing German engineering and IT service provider. This acquisition is an important step in TMC's strategy to strengthen its position in the German market.
Guldberg and Personites
Guldberg, founded in 2017 and headquartered in Munich, has quickly developed into a leading provider of temporary engineering and IT specialists, particularly in the automotive, aerospace, special machine, and robotics sector. The company is praised for its excellent employer brand, high customer satisfaction score and very fast response time in the German market. Employing more than 100 consultants, Guldberg is the preferred staffing and recruitment partner for renowned automotive players, e.g. a lot of German automotive OEM’s and first and second tier suppliers.
The acquisition also includes Personites, a managed service provider for external personnel, based in Munich with several locations in the north of Germany and working for DAX40 and Fortune500 customers. Led by the current management team of Guldberg, consisting of Managing Directors Andreas Scherer and Julia Pelka, and a new Managing Director joining Personites in February, both Guldberg and Personites will continue their operations under their own labels and will be the flagship of TMC in the German market.
Expanding international footprint
TMC entered the German market at the end of 2023. With this strategic acquisition, the company aims to expand its business in Germany faster and increase its overall international footprint. The goal is to collectively employ more than 1,000 employees in Germany as soon as possible. This should contribute to TMC's goal of growing to 5,000 employeneurs by 2028.
"Germany has a huge engineering market, especially in the automotive sector, and this offers significant growth opportunities. To take advantage of these opportunities, we need to grow locally, including through acquisitions. Guldberg exudes TMC's standards and values in everything it does. It is a very entrepreneurial club with a people-driven culture. We therefore see this acquisition as a great opportunity to bring TMC's unique work entrepreneurship model to German engineers," said Emmanuel Mottrie, CEO of TMC.
“We are very happy to join TMC and be a part of their excellent growth journey. With Guldberg as the flagship of excellent engineering and IT services and Personites of a dynamic MSP provider in Germany, I am sure we will achieve our first milestone of growing to 1,000 employees in Germany rapidly. We can learn from each other, and the same standards and values will make it easy to work together and use our synergies. The management team is looking forward to this great opportunity and being the German TMC base.”, said Andreas Scherer, CEO of Guldberg.
