Supplier Quality Engineer

| What does a Supplier Quality Engineer's day look like?

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you are responsible for guiding one or more suppliers through the production of new projects (new product introduction), and then helping them further optimise their processes to operational excellence.

You know the requirements for running production processes smoothly. By asking the right questions to those involved, you gain a picture of how ‘mature’ a supplier is in its process. You then help the supplier reach its desired level. You act like a spider in the web between the development department and the suppliers and focus mainly on technical aspects and quality in terms of both the product and the process.

Clients are found in the areas of semicon, complex machine building, automotive, healthcare, aerospace, material handling or graphic industry.

| What do we expect from you?

• Education: Higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) level degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent;
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a manufacturing or process engineer in technically complex manufacturing and/or assembly projects;
• Experience with project management and knowledge of SPC, FMEA, 8D and process design;
• Strong social and communication skills (self-confident, persuasive, proactive, stakeholder management);
