SOFTWARE ENGINEER INDUSTRIAL IT (GHENT)

| Your challenges?

You will be responsible for a variety of projects and tasks where you can expect to take part in all aspects of industrial software engineering. This includes development, analysis, testing, project management and support to business teams.

• Deploying, maintaining, and enhancing software to support our steel logistics processes
• Assisting business users in defining the evolution of our software and resolving bugs and issues
• Translating business functionalities into IT systems
• Communicating with IT and business teams from Liège and Ghent
• Constantly seeking out improvements
• Dealing with the following technology stack: C#, .NET, SQL, Log4net, DevOps, TFS, CD/CI, unit and integration testing.

| What do we expect from you?

• You have a master's degree (Electronics, ICT, computer science,…) and a strong interest in programming and in industrial software.
• Your analytical mind helps you find solutions for our internal customers (e.g. production lines).
• You have an interest in steel logistics business processes and the ability to translate needs into IT specifications.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and you have a good level of English.
• Your strong interpersonal skills allow you to integrate quickly with our existing industrial IT team
