SOFTWARE EMBEDDED ENGINEER (MODENA)

TMC Italia is seeking a Software Embedded Engineer for its activity in the Modena Greater Metropolitan Area. Working within the Electronic domain, the successful candidate will be working on the development alongside a team of hardware, software and electronics engineers within industrial sector such as biomedical and automotive.

| Your challenges?

We are seeking candidates with prior experience of low-level Firmware development preferably targeting 8/16/32-bit PIC Microcontrollers. Primary responsibilities will include:

• Analyze software requirements, design documents and feasibility
• Lead Design and Development activities
• Design Software Architecture, Components, and interfaces
• Work across a variety of software lifecycle activities as determined by program needs
• Debug and test
• Write technical documentation

| What do we expect from you?

MUST HAVE

• Master’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science (4+ years) or equivalent
• Advanced knowledge of C
• Advanced knowledge of C++
• Excellent Knowledge of Design Patterns and Software Architecture Design
• Experience of Python programming language
• Proficiency with Windows, Linux and Embedded OS
• Good knowledge of Data Analysis Tools (e.g.: Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib)
• Team Working attitude
• Fluent English
  
  

NICE TO HAVE

• Knowledge of Java programming language
• Knowledge of Android Platform
• Knowledge of machine Learning Algorithms
• Proficiency with QP/C++ framework
• Proficiency with Static Analysis tools (Coverity, Code Collaborator)
• Proficiency with Qt Framework
• Proficiency with PyQt Framework
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP, Uart, CanBus protocols
• Good Knowledge of IEC 62304
