SENIOR EMC COMPETENCE LEAD

| Your challenges?

As EMC Competence Lead, you’ll define competence standards including decomposition of EMC requirements and design guidelines for ASML’s hardware design teams. You’ll create and deploy EMC qualification processes and EMC knowledge, define analysis and test strategies for ASML’s complex lithography systems. You’ll be responsible for the EMC competence roadmap, competence targets and for promoting the team to further grow the EMC competence at ASML.

As EMC Competence Lead, you’ll:

• Maintain EMC competence standards, procedures, and training for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure EMC compliance of ASML products through effective system qualification strategies and best practices.
• Incorporate operational feedback and technical insights into standards and procedures.
• Drive timely technical decisions within the competence domain.
• Share EMC knowledge across ASML communities via documentation and training.
• Promote efficiency through standardized tests and procedures.
• Conduct feasibility studies to address competence and technology gaps.
• Manage competence roadmap and targets, aligning with stakeholders.
• Cultivate internal and external EMC networks.
• Manage the competence SharePoint site and stay updated on EMC developments.
• Monitor changes in EMC regulations and serve as the main contact for related queries.
• Participate in reviews and ensure technical quality of team deliverables.
• Coach engineers and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop training curriculum and promote competence representatives.
• Maintain engagement through regular meetings and mirrors.
• Establish an escalation process for non-compliance issues.

| What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in the field of design for EMC and/or EMC consultancy (preferably for large systems)
• Knowledge and experience in EMC testing and troubleshooting
• Up to date on EMC legislation, regulations, directives, standards, testing and measurement techniques
• In-depth knowledge of EMC testing and measurement techniques, design for EMC methodology
• Multiple years of experience in electronics and/or electromechanical designs
• Writing of technical documentation
• Familiar with electrical safety basics
• Working in multidisciplinary and preferably international environment
• Basic knowledge of software, physics and mechatronics.
