SALES ENGINEER

Our clients is looking for an entrepreneurial engineer with skills and/or interest in sales and business development. You will be part of a small but proactive team that is determined to help their company grow in the upcoming years. You will be coached and trained to further develop your skills and your role within the company.

| Your challenges?

• Proactively scanning & approaching the market for business leads
• Guiding customer leads through the quotation process
• Preparing offers with the support of the different internal departments
• Involving & following-up on the activities of the cross functional groups (engineering, purchasing, industrialization, finance)
• Following-up on the commercial aspects of projects that have been won
• Preparing & running customer meetings
• Attending & preparing for trade fairs

| What do we expect from you?

• An Engineering degree in (electro-)mechanics
• 2-3 years of work experience
• Dutch and English speaking
• Affinity with sales / commercial activities / business development through a previous job, side business or project, or other experience
• A proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
• Strong communication skills
