Project Buyer

As a Project Buyer, you will be accountable for leading and managing purchasing activities: sourcing, planning, production part approval process, tooling investments and Quality Assurance, Risk Management in cross-functional projects, and contributing to project deliveries.

| YOUR CHALLENGES

• Interact with the purchasing community from Buyers and SQEs to Managers and Vice-Presidents;
• Communicate to stakeholders in purchasing and presenting project status to purchasing reference groups;
• Create initiatives, communicate, and share success stories to engage people in the project;
• Provide supplier competencies to the project with the support of Purchasing segment leaders.

| WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

• 2+ years of working experience within the automotive industry;
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field;
• Understanding the Purchasing challenges and you are ready to support them;
• Works well on projects on their own as well as with a team, able to communicate ideas;
• Understand cost drivers and bring business perspectives to the project;
• Strong risk management skills;
• Developed negotiation skills and communication skills;
• Entrepreneurial spirit.
