High Voltage System Integration Test Engineer (m/w/d)

The High Voltage (HV) System Testing Engineer, based in Ulm, is responsible for the development, execution and reporting of the test suite. Main scope is to verify the design of the HV system. The main interfaces are the technical function responsible and the sign-off engineer. The HV integration Test Lab and specific system verification performed at vehicle level are managed by the Test Engineer.

| Your challenges?

As a High Voltage System Integration Test Engineer, you will have the following responsibilities:

• Create the benchmarking test list
• Develop HV System Test Cases
• Create the test method and test procedure to validate HV system functions supported by the technical function responsible
• Organize test cases into Test Plan, update as well as monitor the progress and schedule the testing activities based on the test plan: test benches, vehicle and resources based
• Promote the purchasing of new tools for testing
• Carry out test report review and approval process
• Manage the HV Integration test benches development and maintenance

You will support :

• the definition of HV safety requirements for End Of Line and Commissioning and the key performance targets for the new generation HV system
• the vehicle commissioning for the issues related to HV system and testing activities out side of the plant at testing supplier site
• Support the trouble shooting for the in field test campaign
• Innovation by suggesting marketing ideas, continuous improvement and patents.

| What do we expect from you?

Educational background: Master's Degree or equivalent in appropriate field of study (electronics, informatics, electrical or mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation). You have a proven hands-on experience with BEV or FCEV projects and High-Voltage Engineering.

You are familiar with MS-Office, System RQs and PLM. You are used to working with data analysis tools such as Concerto and Vector. DGUV or TUV training or similar and a Truck driving license are nice to have.

Language-Skills: Fluency in English, German or Italian language skills are a plus.

Miscellaneous: driver’s license, willingness to travel, presence on site in Ulm required and occasional remote work
