Hardware Qualification Engineer (Nuclear)

| Your challenges?

As Hardware Qualification Engineer you are responsible for:

• Management of hardware qualification process of electrical and instrumentation equipment regarding nuclear safety;
• Research of substitute products for obsolete nuclear qualified equipment;
• Meet experts assigned by Suppliers & Clients;
• Draft specifications and technical requisition files for purchasing of Instrumentation equipment;
• Draft qualification programs according to current referential;
• Evaluation and choice of test laboratories;
• Place orders and follow up of the Contract;
• Follow up of qualification tests;
• Draft meeting and hardware qualification reports
• Present and defend hardware/software qualification in front of the Client
• Perform Quality Audits according to nuclear standards for suppliers of qualified equipment;
• Perform evolution evaluation of qualified equipment and draft reports;
• Provide support, related to hardware qualification, for Electricity, Instrumentation and Control System projects

| What do we expect from you?

• Master in Engineering : Energy / Electricity / Electromechanical
• Knowledge in electricity and/or instrumentation, quality assurance, standards
• Open to quality and safety cultures
• Experiences in safety sector (nuclear/ industry/ railways/ aeronautics…)
• Knowledge in nuclear power plant instrumentation and systems
• Knowledge in the components composing the systems and how they operate
• Speaking/writing in French and English
• Curious, motivated to learn, autonomous, be willing to travel and to work abroad, the ideal candidate should also have a critical mind and team spirit|
