Group Lead – Defence Innovation

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Group Lead with a background in defence and a proven track record in project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful completion of projects, contributing to the advancement of technologies crucial to Defence and National Security.

| Your challenges?

• Lead and manage a team of professionals, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Ensure the timely and within-budget delivery of project results, which may include feasibility studies, analyses, prototypes, and the adaptation of existing technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive short-cycle innovation for Defence and National Security applications.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members, ensuring high-quality project outcomes.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, both internal and external, including government agencies, research institutions, and industry partners.

| What do we expect from you?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., engineering, computer science, etc.).
• Proven experience in project management, specifically within the defence sector.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of professionals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with short-cycle innovation and the adaptability of technologies for Defence and National Security.

Additional Requirements:

• Residency in the Randstad area.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related activities.
• Understanding of the regulatory and security landscape in the defence sector.
