EMC ENGINEER – LOMBARDIA

TMC Italia is looking for an EMC Engineer (EMC Design, Control, and Verification ) based in our customer’s premises to provide support on Space applications.

The activity will be carried on in an international context.

Responsibilities will include:

• EMC System level analysis focused on system level requirements and specification
• Design, analysis, and simulation of the Electrical effects of Electromagnetic Interference (EMI),
• Addressing issues such as Lighting and ESD (electrostatic discharge)
• Employing methodologies to mitigate their associated effects.
• Creating comprehensive documentation for System, Sub-System & Equipment EMC/ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) (Specifications, Control Plans, Test Reporting, and Analyses).
• EMC troubleshooting in a laboratory setting, particularly for pre-compliance and compliance testing according to ECSS-E-ST-20-07C
• Laboratory experience to support EMC testing activities, with the ability to assess the adequacy of the implemented test set-up

• Electronics degree
• Proficiency in Italian and English (spoken and written)
• EMC System level analysis focused on system level requirements and specification
• Preparation, performance, analysis, evaluation and documentation of EMC verification tests
• Knowledge of Electric and Magnetic field Theory
• Knowledge RF signal propagation theory
• Charging effects, analysis and modelling
• Full autonomy in using 3D Full Wave electromagnetic simulation (CST®, FEKO etc.) including coupling, crosstalk and RFC (radio frequency compatibility)
• Full autonomy in performing EMC Testing
• Full autonomy in using Instrumentation for Electrical and EMC testing (frequency and time domain, emission and susceptibility)
• Full comprehensive capability of Windows Office package;
• Familiarity with Space Standards (i.e.ECSS-E-ST-20-07C and MIL-STD-461G)
• Good attitude towards teaming and multi-disciplinary approaches.
• Experience with Institutional Programs in the Space Field
