Cybersecurity System engineer (Ghent)

| Your challenges?

• You will be part of the infrastructure team. This team includes: for the development of a stable and secured server, workplace, and network infrastructure and technology. With approximately 3000 servers, 9000 workstations, and 4000 network devices,
• You will be a driving force in the management of Active Directory, with a focus on the domain controller
• activities as domain admin
• You will operate, configure, and innovate DNS, DHCP, and PKI infrastructure...
• You will participate in various cybersecurity assignments and projects: Firewalls, IPS, EPP, SIEM, vulnerability assessments…
• AD is a very important responsibility within a Windows environment, because of this central function
• you also play an important role in incidents and innovations that e.g. dealing with Kerberos, NTLM,
• constrained delegation, certificates, encryption, SMB, ..
• Your cybersecurity responsibility also goes beyond just AD. Also following up on various improvements to endpoints, servers and network are also included in the range of tasks.

| What do we expect from you?

• You have a master's degree in one of the following disciplines: engineering sciences, computer sciences, industrial sciences with a specialization in ICT, electrical engineering, with a minimum 2 years of experience.
• You have extensive knowledge of active directory domain services
• You have extensive knowledge of windows operating (all server and client versions)
• You have knowledge of SQL Server queries
• You have knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell
• You have knowledge or are interested in the latest IT technologies and Infrastructure such as System Center, Clustering, SQL Server, SAN, back-up & restore, Hyper-V, network firewalls.
• You have strong analytical skills
• You are results-oriented, communicative, customer-oriented, responsible, can work well in a team
• You speak Dutch and English
