- Ensuring the application of quality procedures at every design stage and guaranteeing that all documentation meets high standards.
- Using BIM for interface definition and management as part of the project delivery strategy, which requires proficiency with BIM tools and methodologies.
- Managing a structural engineer firm to ensure deliverables are completed, verified, and submitted on time, requiring strong leadership and project management skills.
- Acting as the main point of contact between the company and client stakeholders for all civil and structural matters, necessitating excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Providing prompt solutions to the construction team for site requests or modifications, ensuring seamless execution of civil and structural work, which demands quick problem-solving abilities.
- Managing and resolving technical interfaces between civil works, technological systems, subsystems, and third parties, which can be complex and multifaceted.
| What do we expect from you?
- 5-10 years in Structural Civil Works in Railway Engineering, focusing on design, commissioning, and requirement/interface management
- Expertise in the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of railway trackwork's systems, including buildings, viaducts, and tunnels.
- Selecting sub-contractors, preparing Purchase Technical Specifications (PTS), and providing technical support for contract matters.
- Proficiency with Requirement Traceability Matrix, Interface Registers tools, and Common Data Environment (CDE) in a BIM context, per ISO 19650 standards.
- Managing contractor and sub-contractor activities, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and design processes, and overseeing construction, testing, and commissioning phases.
