BUSINESS ANALYST - HOUSTON TEXAS
As a Business Analyst (BA) at TMC, you will join a global team based in our HOUSTON, Texas office. You will lead a growing team of 4 BAs reporting to you and report to the Program Manager. Your role will guide our organization into the future in your concerned area. You will focus on gathering, analyzing, designing, and maintaining all modules related to OIL trading developed in TMC’s in-house CTRM. You will oversee all in-house CTRM deliveries for Oil Physical and Derivative products, as well as potential developments on Natural Gas.

- Demonstrate a service-oriented approach, understanding customer business needs, and achieving high customer satisfaction ratings.
- Effectively manage client expectations to ensure clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as the 'Product Owner' for Oil Front office modules, Ops Modules (e.g., Trade entry, Storages, Linkages), and potentially Risk Modules. Develop forward-thinking systems and features within the CTRM and beyond (e.g., Reporting/BI tools, AI).
- Design integrated solutions in collaboration with other product owners across locations and commodities
- Oversee all US-based developments of the in-house CTRM system developed over the past 7 years.
- Assist in organizing the Support Team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and provide second-level support when required.
| What do we expect from you?
- Minimum 10+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong Leader.
- Strong SQL/phyton skills. Ability to debug/write stored procedures.
- Ability to do PowerBI reports (or other BI tools)
- Proven experience in understanding and implementing business requirements.
- Experience in implementing and/or upgrading CTRM/ETRM systems and associated modules.
- Strong knowledge of oil products and their derivatives.
- Good knowledge of any of the following commodities (Gas, Power, Coal, Emissions, Agriculture) and has the ability to learn.
