AUTOMOTIVE SW/FW ENGINEER - MILAN

TMC Italia is looking for a SW Engineer based in our customer’s premises to provide support on Motorsport applications for Hybrid & Electric FW/SW applications.

The activity will be carried on in an international context.

Responsibilities will include:

• Conduct analysis, discussion, and engineering tasks for system requirements.
• Create and manage Motorsport Software Architecture for customer API deployment.
• Design and implement Firmware/Software for various onboard applications and contribute to the roadmap for future software evolution and lifecycle design.
• Evaluate results, suggest improvements, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Generate comprehensive reports on project progress and key challenges.
• Enhance unit testing procedures and methodologies.

| What do we expect from you?

• MSc in Electronic or Computer Engineering.
• Italian and English, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) such as FreeRTOS and VxWorks, as well as Linux and Linux-RT, and Automotive Software Architecture.
• Communication interfaces: CAN, Ethernet, FlexRay, PCI, SPI, UART, and USB.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Firmware and Software development.
• Willingness to travel for business purposes.
• Proficiency with Matlab and Microsoft Office suites.
• Familiarity with laboratory hardware/software instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and multimeters.
• Experience with Atlassian toolchain, including Jira and Confluence, as well as Azure DevOps.
