Automation Engineer (m/w/d)

| Your challenges?

The position is based in the region of Aalen, Baden-Württemberg. As an Automation Engineer, you will have to deal with Machine & Material Damage Control (MMDC) which combines many disciplines and requires a basic understanding of robotics, mechanical-, automation- and software development. The task encompasses the following:

• Understanding of MMDC risks and mitigations (e.g. collisions, leakage, contamination,…)
• Analysis of existing MMDC concepts in High-NA Project (>30 interlinked machines)
• Review of existing MMDC risk heat map and potential extension of this heat map
• Generation of recommendations for measures to be implemented
• Documentation of risks, mitigations, measures, and tests
• Definition and potential execution of MMDC tests in the cleanroom
• DIN EN 12100 Safety with machines
• DIN EN 13849-1 Safety with machines

| What do we expect from you?

As an ideal candidate you bring the following:

• MMDC
• Mechatronics Background
• Knowledge of machine safety beneficial
• Knowledge of sensors & actuators
• System (and conceptual) thinking
• Basic understanding of software structures or SPS
